I am from a small town near Brasilia, Brazil. Outside academics, I work at the School of Medicine researching the role of peripheral macrophages in neurodegenerative diseases. Also, I study language development through non-verbal learning in infants with Duke Child Studies. In my free time, I enjoy checking out local restaurants, watching movies, and online shopping!
