Harvey Shi recently graduated summa cum laude from Duke with dual degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Computer Science as a member of the class of 2018. Throughout high school and college, he developed an interest in research, which has evolved into a passion for solving biomedical problems using computing. A Goldwater scholar, Harvey is also the 2018 recipient of the Edward D. “Ned” Light Memorial Award, which is “given to the Pratt Fellow in Biomedical Engineering for the project with the best engineering design.” In his spare time, Harvey enjoys basketball, drawing, music, and spending time with his family and friends.
