Biology

I am a watershed biogeochemist and study aquatic ecosystem function in response to environmental change. My research examines the fate of organic matter and nutrients as they traverse the land-to-ocean margin, and I  develop approaches to quantify ecosystem transformation and resilience following disturbance.
