About My Data+ Experience

“Data+ has shown me that data can come in many forms and from many sources – images, text, audio, charts – and is not always available in the desired form. After participating in Data+, I feel that I have the skills I need to take data in its raw form, process it in a meaningful way, determine if there is meaning in it (or not), and communicate this to any audience.

Data+ has shown me the range of disciplines and the many communities involved in Data Science research, specifically at Duke. I’ve learned that data science research is not confined to Statisticians or Computer Scientists, but involves people and projects from all disciplines.”
