We will be celebrating connections among the arts, math and engineering as we dedicate “Geometry Ascending a Staircase,” the new four-part sculpture in the Pratt School of Engineering’s FCIEMAS atrium. Created by artist George Hart and made possible by professor Ingrid Daubechies, the sculpture was assembled and installed in a community “sculpture barnraising” last semester (pratt.duke.edu/sculpture).
